On the Journey to Extraordinary there's always a Holiday Inn® Hotel

Millions of people come through our doors every year. Every one of them is on a journey. Every one of them has a story to tell. Here, we shine a light on some of these guests and celebrate the extraordinary in all of us.

Meet Ritesh

In 3 weeks, Ritesh managed to dip his toes in the Pacific and the Atlantic, gambled in Las Vegas, and saw the sights in DC, and concluded the adventure in NYC while staying at Holiday Inn® - Lower East Side. The people he and his wife met along the way made their already epic trip even better.

We’re all on a journey to somewhere. And we’re all headed in the same direction: forward. The guests who come through our doors every day are like all of us; they have dreams, promises, plans. Here, we celebrate these guests, their stories, and everyone who embarks on the journey to extraordinary.

Meet Samantha

The plural of Elvis? Samantha can tell you: it’s Elvii. She knows a lot about this subject; after all, she travels the country to attend Elvis conventions. Now in Lake George, she’s happy to be staying at a Holiday Inn Resort® where she can mix with other like-minded fans. Happy we could come to the rescue. Photo by scottborrero

Meet Alan and Justin

While the ladies are away (at the Elvis convention), the boys will play (shuffleboard). All the women in Alan and Justin’s lives came here for Elvis. Instead of feeling left out, these guys are enjoying the shuffleboard scene at the Holiday Inn Resort® Lake George –Turf. Photo by scottborrero

Meet Eva

If you stay in the water long enough, can you turn into a fish? Eva already knows the answer to that question, but it doesn’t keep her from maximizing her pool time at the Holiday Inn Resort® Lake George –Turf. And who knows, stranger things have happened.

Chris and Norris

Chris and Norris leave the devices behind and vacation like it’s 1999. If there’s one thing our millions of guests have in common, it’s that they each have a story to tell. After a busy few months at work, Chris and Norris craved a chance to drop off the radar for the weekend. No phones. No texts. No social media. Just good old-fashioned pool time. Hear their story. On the Journey to Extraordinary, there’s always a Holiday Inn.

Meet Agus and Jacklyn, newlyweds and new Segway enthusiasts. On their one-year anniversary, this New York couple flew all the way to San Francisco so they could tour the scenic waterfront by Segway. The Holiday Inn® San Francisco – Fisherman’s Wharf’s location made it a short walk before their ride.

Anvil and Gloria, retirees and world travelers (not necessarily in that order) Originally from Detroit, they moved to Israel years ago to be close to their children. But they rarely stay put for long, with a busy travel agenda that takes them around the globe at least twice a year, and often to their favorite Holiday Inn® hotel in New York City.

Meet Tiffany and her trio of kiddos: Kalei, Hunter & Andrew. With three kids all under age seven, Tiffany sought a resort that offered enough activities keep her kids busy. She remembered the Holiday Inn Resort® - Wilmington E-Wrightsville Beach where she loved spending time as a child. Just a two-hour drive from home, it was worth every “Are we there yet” along the ride.
